Twenty + Change launches call for submissions for 6th edition
The eagerly anticipated 6th edition of Twenty + Change in collaboration with Canadian Architect magazine is set to launch on April 18, 2024, with a call for submissions for architectural practices that are 10 years old or less. Twenty + Change: New Perspectives will feature around 20 emerging Canadian architecture practices that display innovation in their work, mode of operation, research, and/or other aspects of practice. The final selection will aim to showcase a diversity of people and practice types, working in different geographical regions, and taking a variety of innovative approaches to the practice of architecture.
Twenty + Change is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization led by Heather Dubbeldam since 2008 as part of her professional advocacy mandate to promote emerging architects in Canada. The initiative aims to foster the exchange of ideas and showcase emerging Canadian practices that are setting a new agenda for innovation and excellence through their built or speculative work. Commencing with the 5th edition in 2021, Twenty + Change has partnered with Canadian Architect magazine to produce a special print edition with wide national distribution, highlighting the selected firms.
