Twenty + Change

Twenty + Change is a non-profit volunteer-run organization, established to encourage the exchange of ideas, and to expose and disseminate the work of a new generation of Canadian architects and designers.

Since 2008, Principal Heather Dubbeldam has been leading Twenty + Change, a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, established to expose and disseminate the work of a new generation of Canadian architects and designers through and ongoing exhibition and publication series. Heather has led five editions of Twenty + Change that have promoted and disseminated the work of over 100 emerging architecture practices (20 each edition). This has had a positive and, in some cases, profound impact on the success of these practices across the country.

Other Dubbeldam team members participate in the Twenty + Change cause, either on the selection committee or assisting with the facilitation of the various elements of the initiative including website updates, social media, editing, etc. The 7th iteration of Twenty + Change is currently being developed in collaboration with Canadian Architect magazine, to be launched in Q1 2024.
